Now, after 5 hours bus ride, I'm back to Kunming.
Thanks to its long day time here, when I was arriving in town around 6ish, there was still sun up in the sky. Probably I will spend today walk around this town, missing laid back feeling with sunny day and nice breeze on streets..

I almost got lost in China...
it was totally 25km bike ride and my "shortcut" led me in the middle of farming/fishing village. No more people speaking Mandarin (Standard Chinese) and they only understand local dialect (Bai tribe group). After pushing my "Mama-chari" through bumpy roads with full of pool and rocks for 2 hours, I finally managed to come back high-way....

Now back in town on Dali old city where you can find lots of sights of old Chinese walled town. I'm taking 1:30pm bus ride of 4.5 hours and heading back to Kunming where I'll take a flight to Hong Kong on Aug 31.

Hi all, I'm still wondering in Yunnang, China.
I flied from Kunming to Zhongdian (a.k.a. Shangri-La, because of its modest climate and scenary), today took a loooooong bus ride from there to Lijian. Lijian is also another spectacular city which still retains strong culture of Naxi tribal grup.

I saw a dog slaughtered at market today.. the first time to encounter such occasion, but the market still have open area to kill chicken, duck and....dog. Well, it's very very experiential trip.. :)

今日のお昼のフライトで昆明に行ってきます。
久しぶりのバックパック、なんだかいつもより重く感じる。でもワクワク。
８月３１日に戻ってきます。

プロジェクトは無事終わり、これまでみんなテンション高めで仕事してきたので、一気にその反動でまったりと仕事。明日の便で香港に帰ります！
